I was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio — working-class roots, a hands-on life. I've built plenty with my hands, but the thing I've been building the longest is words. Writing has always been my therapy. To me it's a puzzle I construct out of my head and lay out in front of me — and when it lands right, other people can feel it too. That's the magic I've chased my whole life.
Melody Made started with a simple realization: the thing that carried me through life could carry other people too. I'm a father of five, and this business is me betting everything I love about the craft on building a better life for them. So when I write your song, understand — this is the work I would choose over any other work in the world.
What I study most are the invisible parts of life: intuition, emotion, intention, the weight a single word can carry. That's what goes into every track — your story, listened to closely, and woven into something you can actually feel.
Before Melody Made, there were just my own songs — written by hand and recorded in a real studio. This is Times Change, and it's the clearest proof I can offer of what I actually do.
Then I fed those same lyrics through the tools I use every day — and got back two completely different songs. Same words. Two voices I'd never have heard otherwise.
Every Melody Made song starts the old way: with your story. I read every detail you send, find the moments that matter, and build the creative blueprint by hand — the meaning, the direction, the names and inside jokes, the lines that make people laugh out loud or reach for a tissue. Planting the purpose is, and always will be, human.
Then I hand that blueprint to modern AI production tools the way an architect hands drawings to a builder: a vehicle for speed and precision. And I don't just take what comes back — I refine, rework, and re-listen until it feels right to me before it ever reaches you. Never your prompt plugged in and shipped straight out. The meaning is mine to protect. The final judgment is mine. The technology just helps me deliver it faster and sharper.
That's the whole difference — our line in the sand: personalized music, not prompt music.
And for anyone who wants none of that — no tools, no shortcuts, nothing but a person and a microphone — The Youngstown Sessions exists for exactly that. I write every word by hand and sing it myself, right here in this room. Two a month, because that's honestly all one voice can give.
