Short version: we collect only what you choose to send us, we use it to make your music and reply to you, and we don't sell it to anyone. Ever.
When you fill in a form on this site — a commission request, a beat request, a free demo, or the contact form — we receive what you typed. That normally means your name, your email address, and the details of what you'd like made. If you tell us a story about someone you love, we receive that too.
We also use Google Analytics, which counts visits and tells us which pages people read. It sets cookies in your browser and collects general information such as your approximate region, device type, and how you found us. It does not tell us who you are.
For one reason: to reply to you and to make what you asked for. Your email is used to send your quote, ask questions, and deliver your music. Your story is used to write your song.
We may occasionally email you about your own order. We do not run marketing lists and we will not add you to one.
Melody Made is one person. In practice, that means only Krish reads what you send.
A small number of services handle data on our behalf in order to make the site work: Netlify hosts this website and receives form submissions, Google Analytics measures traffic, and Etsy processes payments if you buy through our shop. Each has its own privacy policy. We use professional AI production tools in our creative process; where a brief is entered into such a tool, it is limited to the creative direction, not your contact details.
We do not sell your information, and we never will.
Finished songs may be shown as samples of our work so that new customers can hear the craft. Personal details from your story are not published. If you'd prefer your song kept completely private, tell us when you order and we'll keep it that way — see the Song Rights page for how exclusivity works.
We keep order records and delivered files so that we can re-send your music if you lose it, and so we have a record of what was agreed. If you'd like your details removed from our records, email us and we'll do it.
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Just email melodymade.purpose@gmail.com and we'll take care of it. You can also block cookies in your browser settings, which stops the analytics.
This site isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
